Cookie Policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026
mildfactor.online sets no cookies, of any kind, first-party or third-party, and stores nothing in your browser. There is no analytics package, no advertising tag, no pixel, no social or video embed and no session identifier. The only request this site makes to another company is for the typeface, which is loaded from Google Fonts and which sets no cookie here. The table below states the position for each technology individually.
Storage audit
| Technology | Used on this site? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| First-party cookies | No | Nothing on this domain writes a cookie. The site has no accounts, no preferences to remember and no sessions. |
| Third-party cookies | No | No third-party script runs here, so no other company is able to set a cookie through this site. |
| localStorage | No | The site's own script handles the menus, the question list and the accordion in memory only, and writes nothing. |
| sessionStorage | No | Not used for any purpose. |
| IndexedDB | No | Not used for any purpose. |
| Tracking pixels | No | There are no invisible images, beacons or conversion tags anywhere on the site. |
| Browser fingerprinting | No | Nothing here measures fonts, canvas rendering, screen characteristics or anything else to identify a device. |
| Web fonts | Yes | The stylesheet and font files are requested from Google Fonts. The request carries your IP address to Google. No cookie is set on this site by it. |
| Server access logs | Yes | Our hosting provider records each request as described below. These are server-side records, not browser storage. |
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and to send back on later visits, which is how sites remember that you are signed in or which items are in a basket. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which keep data in the browser without sending it back automatically, tracking pixels, which are tiny images loaded to record that a page was viewed, and fingerprinting, which identifies a device by combining characteristics rather than by storing anything.
2. Why there are none here
This is a set of static pages with nothing to remember about you. There is no sign-in, no shopping, no saved preference and no measurement of readers, so there is no function for a cookie to perform. Because no third-party script runs on the site, no other company has the opportunity to set one either.
3. Why there is no consent banner
A consent banner exists to obtain permission for storage that is not strictly necessary. Since nothing is stored, there is nothing to seek permission for, and a banner asking you to accept cookies on a site that sets none would be untrue. If you see a banner on a page claiming to be this site, you are not on this site.
4. What does happen when you read a page
Two things. First, our hosting provider records the request in its server logs: the IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string. Those logs are kept for 30 days. Second, your browser requests the font stylesheet and the font files from Google Fonts, which carries your IP address to Google. Google describes how it handles the information it receives at policies.google.com/privacy. No cookie is set on this site as part of that request. Both are described in more detail in the Privacy Policy.
5. Browser storage, individually
localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB are not used. No tracking pixel is embedded in any page. No fingerprinting of any kind is attempted. Each of these appears as "No" in the table above, and the site's single script file is readable in full at /js/site.js if you would like to confirm it.
6. After you follow an affiliate link
The affiliate link on this site leads to another company's website. Once you are there, Norton AntiVirus Plus and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies on their own domains, typically to record that the visit came from here so that commission can be attributed. Those cookies are theirs, are set on their domains and are governed by their own notices. BETA - CZECH, s.r.o. does not control them, cannot read them and cannot switch them off. Their notices are the place to check what they do.
7. Blocking or clearing cookies generally
Every major browser lets you see which sites have stored cookies, delete them individually or all at once, block third-party cookies, and block cookies from particular sites. The controls sit in the privacy or site-permissions section of the browser's settings, and each browser maker documents the exact steps for its current version. Clearing cookies signs you out of sites that use them, which is worth knowing before you clear everything. Nothing you do with these controls affects mildfactor.online, because this site stores nothing either way.
8. If this ever changes
If a cookie or any browser storage is ever introduced on this site, this page will be rewritten to describe it before it appears, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before any non-essential storage is set. The effective date at the top will change on the same day.
