Four pages describe how this site operates. They are written about this site specifically rather than copied from a template, and each carries its own effective date.
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026. Sets out everything that reaches the publisher when you read this site, which is very little: server access logs held by the hosting provider, the content of any email you send, and the request your browser makes to Google for the typeface. It includes a table of each category with its purpose, retention period and recipients, and covers the Australian Privacy Principles, overseas disclosure, access and correction requests, complaints to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, and the rights that apply because the publisher is established in the European Union.
Cookie Policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026. Explains that this site sets no cookies at all and uses no browser storage, with a table listing each technology and whether it is used. It describes why there is no consent banner, what the Google Fonts request involves, what happens on another company's site after you follow an affiliate link, and how to clear or block cookies in a browser generally.
Terms
Effective date: 8 October 2026. The conditions on which the material here is published: it is general information rather than professional or security advice, product details change and the vendor is the authority on them, linked sites are outside the publisher's control, and liability is limited only to the extent the Australian Consumer Law permits, with nothing excluding the guarantees that cannot be excluded.
Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: 8 October 2026. Describes the paid affiliate links on this site: which product they point to, who pays the commission, that your price does not change, what the commission does not influence, and what actually determines which questions appear here and what the answers say. It also carries the trademark notice.
